Renewables and Migration (REMI) Project

Implemented by GIZ on behalf of the BMZ, the cross-sectoral Renewables and Migration project uniquely operates at the interface of sustainable energy and refugee matters in Turkey.

Solar Trainings

REMI, provides solar trainings in cooperation with GSO.

The trainings will enable Syrian and Turkish participants to independently install solar rooftop systems for electricity and warm water production.

PV Installations

Under REMI, three pilot solar installations will be implemented.

This will enhance the visibility of the technology and the general public can be informed about the benefits of renewable energy.

Private Sector Cooperation

Within the scope of Component C, it is aimed to spread the application of the technology with the help of solar roadshows and some other activities in the region especially with companies and the regional administration.
